Description

How to serve Babies at 6-9M stage
You can cut the thick paratha in long strips and place it front of the baby on their highchair tray to pick up and eat. Resist the urge to keep correcting their hold. I've noticed as long as we stay calm and don't interfere, babies will figure out the best way to eat on their own :)

Quick and Easy way to Make Aloo Paratha for Babies

  1. Boil the potato in pressure cooker until soft.

  2. Peel the skin from the cooked potato, Mash it well.
  3. Wash the methi leaves well and chop finely.
  4. Heat the Kadai. Add oil, sputter jeera. Add the chopped Methi leaves and sauté well.
  5. Once it is cooked, remove from heat.
  6. Add turmeric powder and coriander powder, Add the mashed Aloo and Atta. No need to add any extra water.
  7. Mix and knead well. We are looking for a consistency that is more potato and less Atta.
  8. Sprinkle little flour and roll/flatten it to out thick (so the baby is able to pick and hold it).
  9. Heat the Tava.
  10. Smear the butter on the Tava and once heated cook the Paratha evenly on both sides.

Note

You can increase the quantity above and make for adults as well. For adults modify by adding salt as required along with chilli powder and amchur powder while kneading the dough.
