Heat butter in a kadai (let the wall be little tall) on low flame.
Keep stirring it now and then.
You will be hearing a sputtering noise from the melted butter. When the noise stops and the froth clears, immediately switch off the flame.
Let it cool down.
Pour it through a sieve and store it in an airtight container.
This Ghee if properly stored and used, will be good for close to a year. It need not be refrigerated.
